The Lahaula of India
The Lahaula of India, numbering about 2,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a territorial term for inhabitants of the Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh, encompassing Hindu Swangla and Buddhist Bhot communities. Their ancient spirit-worship survives blended into both faiths.
They are an indigenous people in the Nepali-Pahari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Pahari-Potwari.
