The Huichol of the United States
The Huichol of the United States, numbering about 8,700 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Amerindian ethnic group indigenous to the Sierra Madre mountains in the Mexican states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango.
They are a diaspora people in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Spanish.
