The Central Nahuatl of the United States
The Central Nahuatl of the United States, numbering about 64,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous Nahua people of central Mexico who speak Central Nahuatl, a Uto-Aztecan language. They descend from the historic Nahua cultures of the Mexican highlands and maintain traditions shaped by Indigenous heritage and Hispanic influences.
