The Malai Pandaram of India
The Malai Pandaram of India, numbering about 8,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of the forest tracts of Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts in Kerala, also called Hill Pandaram. Once dependent on jungle meat and forest produce, today settled cultivation and wage labor are more common occupations.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Malapandaram.
