The Koyava of India
The Koyava of India, numbering about 850 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kodagu-speaking community of Kodagu district in Karnataka who own coffee estates as their primary occupation. They worship local deities such as Igguthappa and Bhagavathi alongside the wider Hindu pantheon.
They are an indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kodava.
