The Ghadi of India
The Ghadi of India, numbering about 5,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Karnataka community of the coastal Uttar Kannad district also known as Gunagi, who have shifted from their traditional occupation of soothsaying into agricultural labor, masonry, and skilled basket-weaving.
They are an indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kannada.
