The Yatagiri of India
The Yatagiri of India, numbering about 275 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small community of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, their name meaning basket-makers and hunters. Agriculture has replaced these traditional occupations, supplemented by labor and share-cropping.
They are an indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tamil.
