The Kurpalta of India
The Kurpalta of India, numbering about 3,800 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of western Uttar Pradesh, mainly Delhi and Mathura, tracing migration from Rajasthan, where they are called Sathia. Cattle-trading has declined, and many now sell horse hair or serve tonga owners.
They are an indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Marwari (India).
