The Rehar of India
The Rehar of India, numbering about 3,800 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Chamba and Kangra districts, Himachal Pradesh, traditionally itinerant makers of base-metal ornaments for Gaddi women. Agriculture and share-cropping now supplement this craft.
They are an indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Gaddi.
