The Rajdhop of India
The Rajdhop of India, numbering about 4,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a little-known community of northeastern Bihar claiming Rajput descent, considered washermen to the Maharaja of Darbhanga since Mughal times. Cultivation and wage labor remain their main occupations.
They are an indigenous people in the Bhojpur-Maithili people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Angika.
