The Pomla of India
The Pomla of India, numbering about 1,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Gujarat also called Topliwala, who migrated from Madhya Pradesh five or six generations ago, traditionally makers of leaf baskets. Trade and commerce have largely replaced basket-making.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Gujarati.
