The Nyaria of India
The Nyaria of India, numbering about 3,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a migrant community of western Rajasthan calling themselves Pathan or Sheikh, their name recalling the trade of separating precious metals from a goldsmith's refuse. Agriculture supplements their precious metals trade.
They are an indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Mewari.
