The Bargi of India
The Bargi of India, numbering about 16,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Hindu scheduled caste of Rajasthan who claim Rajput descent and call themselves Bargala Rajput. Once professional warriors in the army of the royal house of Bharatpur, they are now landowning agriculturists concentrated in Bharatpur and Jaipur.
They are an indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Braj.
