The Gadhai of India
The Gadhai of India, numbering about 750 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Saurashtra in Gujarat whose name may derive from their history as cow-herders or their traditional keeping of donkeys, about half of whom still earn a living transporting and selling salt by cart or donkey.
They are an indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Gujarati.
