The Bhantu of India
The Bhantu of India, numbering about 12,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Hindu Scheduled Caste community of Uttar Pradesh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, formerly known as Sahaisi, meaning brave. They trace their origin to enrollment in the army of Rana Pratap and are organized into exogamous gotras.
They are an indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Hindi.

Pray for the Bhantu
- Ephesians 5:8. Pray that those walking in darkness will turn to the light and live as children of light.
- Romans 10:14–15. Ask God to send messengers, so that people can hear, believe and call on the name of the Lord.
