The Lunape of Bhutan
The Lunape of Bhutan, numbering about 850 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a semi-nomadic yak-herding people of Lunana in Bhutan's remote Gasa District, among the highest-elevation communities on Earth, related to but linguistically distinct from the neighboring Layap.
They are an indigenous people in the Bhutanese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Lunanakha.
