The Nupbi of Bhutan
The Nupbi of Bhutan, numbering about 3,100 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small East Bodish-speaking community of Trongsa District in central Bhutan, linguistically close to the neighboring Bumthang, Kurtop and Kheng peoples and practicing Tibetan Buddhism.
They are an indigenous people in the Bhutanese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Nupbikha.
