The Kasar (Magahi) of India, numbering about 18,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a traditional copper- and brass-working artisan community whose historical identity is tied to metal craftsmanship, particularly the production of utensils, ritual objects, and bell-metal goods.
They are an indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Magahi.
