The Kaibaratta of India
The Kaibaratta of India, numbering about 343,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a fishing and agricultural community of Bihar, Assam, and eastern India whose name derives from ka, meaning water, and vartta, meaning livelihood. In Assam they follow Vaishnavite Mahapurushia Dharma.
They are an indigenous people in the Mallah people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Angika.
