The Wolof of the United States
The Wolof of the United States, numbering about 27,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West African ethnic group indigenous to northwestern Senegal, the Gambia, and southwestern coastal Mauritania.
They are a diaspora people in the Atlantic-Wolof people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Wolof.
