The Hunsrik of Brazil
The Hunsrik of Brazil, numbering about 2,000,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a German Brazilian ethnolinguistic community descended chiefly from nineteenth-century immigrants from the Hunsrück region of Germany, concentrated in southern Brazil and identified by their distinctive Hunsrik language and heritage.
They are an indigenous people in the Germanic people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Hunsrik.
