The Cia Cia of Indonesia
The Cia Cia of Indonesia, numbering about 89,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Muslim people of southern Buton Island in Indonesia's Southeast Sulawesi, part of the historic Buton Sultanate, whose language has been written in Korean Hangul script alongside Latin letters since 2009.
They are an indigenous people in the Tukangbesi of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Cia-Cia.
