The Roshor of Tajikistan
The Roshor of Tajikistan, numbering about 1,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are Ismaili Shia speakers of the Oroshori dialect of Shughni in the Pamir Mountains' Gorno-Badakhshan region, concentrated in the high Bartang River valley villages of Gudara, Oroshor, and Yapshorv.
They are an indigenous people in the Tajik people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples. Their primary religion is Shia Islam, and they primarily speak Shughni.
