The Zoe of Brazil
The Zoe of Brazil, numbering about 425 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Amazonian people of Para state, Brazil, along the Cuminapanema River who remained isolated until the late 1980s and lost over a third of their population to disease after contact, distinguished by a wooden lip plug worn by all members.
They are an indigenous people in the Guarani people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Zo'é.
