The Ubi of Chad
The Ubi of Chad, numbering about 3,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Hadjeray mountain people of Guéra Province in central Chad, centered in villages south of Bidiyo Canton and identified by their Ubi (Oubi) East Chadic language.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Ubi.
