The Rajput (Garhwali) of India
The Rajput (Garhwali) of India, numbering about 1,695,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Rajput people of Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas descended from settlers fleeing Mughal invasions in Rajasthan, who subdued local Kol and Dom inhabitants to found the Parmar dynasty's fortress-kingdom before its fall to Gurkha invaders in 1803.
They are an indigenous people in the Rajput people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Garhwali.
