The Tutchone of Canada

The Tutchone of Canada, numbering about 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Dan k'i, or Northern Tutchone, Athabaskan people of central Yukon's Pelly and Stewart river basins, organized into matrilineal Wolf and Crow moieties, whose traditional hunting culture was upended by the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush.

They are an indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Northern Tutchone.
