The Tsimshian of Canada
The Tsimshian of Canada, numbering about 7,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the Ts'msyen, whose 5,000-year-old cedar plank house villages at Prince Rupert reflect one of the oldest continuous cultures in the Americas, decimated by the 1862 smallpox epidemic that killed one in four of their people.
They are an indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak English.
