The Nara of Ethiopia
The Nara of Ethiopia, numbering about 94,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Nilo-Saharan-speaking people indigenous to southwestern Eritrea and adjacent areas of northern Ethiopia whose culture is shaped by farming traditions, clan identity, and the Nara language.
They are a diaspora people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Nara.
