The Harso of Ethiopia
The Harso of Ethiopia, numbering about 10,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Gawwada dialect community of Ethiopia's Omo region, known as Harso or Worase, whose speech shares 92 percent of its vocabulary with the closely related Gollango dialect but only 41 percent with the linguistically distant Konso people to the south.
They are an indigenous people in the Omotic people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Gawwada.
