The Noatia of India
The Noatia of India, numbering about 9,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of South Tripura district also called Nowa-Tripura, organized into four exogamous clans. Plow cultivation has replaced shifting cultivation, supplemented by wage labor and poultry-rearing.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Kok Borok.
