The Thoti of India
The Thoti of India, numbering about 16,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Maharashtra classified independently but linguistically and socially a Gond group. They traditionally provide music for Gond marriage and death ceremonies, and are sustained by cultivation and basket-making.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Telugu.
