The Gangte of India
The Gangte of India, numbering about 16,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Kuki-Chin tribe of Churachandpur district in Manipur, India, whose ancestors migrated from Mizoram after falling out of favor with the Mizo, now among the most highly literate and overwhelmingly Christian communities in the region.
They are an indigenous people in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Gangte.
