The Adiyan of India
The Adiyan of India, numbering about 21,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of rural Kerala, concentrated in Wayanad and Kannur, whose name reflects a history of servitude and social exclusion. They are traditionally landless agricultural laborers organized into patrilineal exogamous clans.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Ravula.
