The Paky of India
The Paky of India, numbering about 23,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Vishakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and other districts in Andhra Pradesh, their name recalling the bird. Traditionally town and city scavengers, today sweeping and farm labor are their main occupations.
They are an indigenous people in the Gond people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Telugu.
