The Kadaiyan of India
The Kadaiyan of India, numbering about 19,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste community found in Kerala, where they traditionally make iron implements, and in Tamil Nadu, where they work as fishermen. The Kadaiyan are Malayalam- or Tamil-speaking depending on the state and are Hindu.
They are an indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tamil.
