The Kadar of India
The Kadar of India, numbering about 88,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Hindu community of Bhagalpur, Godda, Dumka, and Sahibganj districts in Bihar traditionally engaged in cultivation, fishing, and day labor. The Kadar are mostly landless agricultural laborers today.
They are an indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Angika.
