The Gosangi of India
The Gosangi of India, numbering about 34,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a distinct Hindu community of South India, recognized today as a Scheduled Caste, found mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with smaller populations in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, and in migrant communities abroad.
They are an indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Telugu.
