The Handi Jogi of India
The Handi Jogi of India, numbering about 26,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste community of Hassan and Bengaluru districts in Karnataka. The Handi Jogi migrated to Karnataka from Andhra Pradesh, where they traditionally worked as pig-rearers and alms-seekers. Most today are agricultural laborers.
They are an indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kannada.

Pray for the Handi Jogi
