The Dhurwa of India
The Dhurwa of India, numbering about 28,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Bastar district in Madhya Pradesh that separated from the Parja community to form a distinct identity, traditionally engaged in basket-making though now largely dependent on agricultural labor and forest produce.
They are an indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kudmali.
