The Ghisadi of India

The Ghisadi of India, numbering about 19,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Maharashtrian ironsmithing community, an offshoot of the nomadic Gadolia Lohar of Rajasthan, descended from smiths who once sharpened swords for Rajput soldiers and scattered after the battle of Haldighati.

They are an indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Mewari.
