The Pale of India
The Pale of India, numbering about 18,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Kodagu district, Karnataka, divided into the migrant Aramane Pale and native Tulu Pale subgroups. Coffee plantation labor remains common, supplemented by small landholding agriculture.
They are an indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Tulu.
