The Kudiya of India
The Kudiya of India, numbering about 4,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Dravidian tribal people of the Western Ghats spanning Karnataka and Kerala, traditionally toddy-tappers organized into some sixteen clans, most of whom have shifted from their own Kudiya tongue to Kodava, Tulu, Kannada, or Malayalam.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kudiya.
