The Tai of India
The Tai of India, numbering about 23,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim community of Gujarat concentrated in and around Vadodara District whose cultural heritage reflects longstanding ties to artisan occupations, community endogamy, and the linguistic traditions of Urdu, Gujarati, and Sindhi speakers.
They are an indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Urdu.

Pray for the Tai
- Romans 10:14–15. Ask God to send messengers, so that people can hear, believe and call on the name of the Lord.
