The Nagesia of India
The Nagesia of India, numbering about 139,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Surguja and Raigarh districts in Madhya Pradesh, also called Kisan, who adopted their name to distinguish themselves from the Oraon. Settled agriculture has replaced shifting cultivation.
They are an indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Sadri.
