The Kalladi of India
The Kalladi of India, numbering about 58,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste community of Malappuram district in Kerala whose traditional occupations are mat-weaving and trapping birds and animals. They are Hindu and now largely work in animal husbandry and wage labor.
They are an indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Malayalam.
