The Garpagari of India
The Garpagari of India, numbering about 29,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Vidarbha community of Maharashtra also known as Nath Jogi, whose name recalls their traditional role averting hailstorms through incantation in exchange for grain, a service no longer trusted or paid.
They are an indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Marathi.
