The Nuniya of India
The Nuniya of India, numbering about 86,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a caste-based community of eastern India, especially Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, traditionally associated with earthwork, salt-related occupations, and agriculture, and today primarily Bengali- and Hindi-speaking.
They are a diaspora people in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Bengali.
