The Panika of India
The Panika of India, numbering about 151,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Madhya Pradesh and a community of Tripura, their name recalling water-carrying, traditionally weavers of coarse cloth. Agricultural labor and tea-garden work have largely replaced weaving.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Chhattisgarhi.

- Psalm 27:1. Pray that new believers will be strengthened in the face of persecution, with the Lord as their stronghold.
