The Bhattra (Punjabi) of India, numbering about 80,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Sikh community concentrated in Chandigarh, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana. The Bhattra are believed to be the descendants of Mandhomal, a Brahmin rishi (saint) of Sri Lanka whose followers converted to Sikhism and followed Guru Nanak back to India.

They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sikhism, and they primarily speak Panjabi.
